I am tucking this away for when I need it. Princess is officially a pre-teen after all (yikes). From 1001 Things Everyone Should Know About Women's History . Okay, whatever Princess gets up to...she wouldn't really get herself engaged to Attila the Hun. Would she? WOULD SHE!?

Crash was the star of the storytelling festival (and, once again, I am of course completely unbiased). He was loud, he was expressive, he was scary, he was cute and totally entertaining. But that's sort of how he is all the time. He made everyone want to shout--in fact the emcee (who was very wise) organized a group shout after Crash's story just so they'd get it out of their systems and could listen to the next teller. Organized shouting. Now there's an idea I need to figure out how to exploit around here.

Butterfly is quite the lyricist. She sings her own songs all the time (much to Crash's dismay). Here is one she made for me trying to get me to take her on my date with Husband tonight (sung very much like a dramatic Little Mermaid). I Can Do Anything What will I do? I don't want to go. I'll be so sad, all on my own. All alone, alone, alone on my date. I'll miss my kids, they'll all be at home What will I do I'll be so alone alone, alone, alone I know!
